I love your interpretation of these quotes. Life isn't always perfect, but as you said, our stories are something to own and cherish. Thank you for sharing such empowering words!✨
Great minds discuss ideas, average minds discuss events, small minds discuss people Eleanor Roosevelt…
this one got me. As for years I’ve been around the deep dive minds, but only eventually for them to move on or far away. Yo be stuck around petty gossip and dull conversations.
But the Wayne dyer, Ali of course were runner ups in the quotes that spoke the most at this current time. This is a Monday motivational write. ✍️ 🙂
Excellent selection of quotes, proverbs, and commentary, C Simone!
I hadn’t heard the FEAR saying before. Love it.
My favorite is the Eleanor Roosevelt quote. It’s one you can point to in just about any conversation, and it’s such a great reminder to be mindful of where our focus really is.
Back in the late ’80s, when I took an assertiveness training course, our instructor was a big fan of Wayne Dyer. He has had so much solid, practical material over the years.
I grew up in the era of Muhammad Ali. He was every kid’s idol, and honestly, most parents’ too.
Michelle Obama for President! A lot of people would love to see her make a run, and I’d be right there with them.
Thank you for this reflection—it brought back some great memories. 😊
Thank you Kevin for sharing this really appreciate your thoughtful reflection 😊
I agree completely, Michelle Obama would be an incredible leader.
And yes, the Eleanor Roosevelt quote resonates deeply with me, it’s such a powerful reminder to be mindful of where we place our focus, especially in conversation. I grew up with the value of 'treat others how you’d like to be treated' so tend to steer clear of talking about people in the way her quote suggests as it's quite pointless unless in a positive light or inspiration.
I’m so glad this brought back good memories for you!
